Karen has worked in the pharmaceutical industry since 2001. As an analytical chemist she has developed control and regulatory strategies for multiple drug projects from early development through to launch and registration.

Karen’s areas of interest are impurity control strategies, including mutagenic impurities, method development and validation using a range of separation techniques, performance and process improvement using lean six sigma tools and incorporating generic platforms. She has particular interests in GC and GC-MS.

Karen has published 2 refereed scientific articles:
