Meet Max- the newest addition to our committee.
Max is a PhD student at The University of Nottingham, developing methods for oligonucleotide impurity analysis in collaboration with industry. Liquid chromatography is a key focus of his day-to-day work. Max was first introduced to The ChromSoc this year at the annual symposium and Grass Roots training course.
He tells us…
“My positive experiences at these events have encouraged me to get involved with the society, beginning with the summer studentship programme. With a summer studentship being my first experience of separation science, I personally understand the importance of the programme. I aim to introduce undergraduate students, aspiring for a career in research, to the relevant skills and technologies that will kickstart their analytical journey”.
We are excited to introduce Max to the chromatographic network and begin working with him to develop and deliver the Summer Studentship programme in 2026.
We encourage any members seeking professional development opportunities to get in touch and see how they may contribute to the society through volunteering on the ChromSoc committee
