Reid Bursaries

Reid International Bioanalytical Forum offer an Early Career Scientist competition alongside the biennial meeting.

Eric Reid set a strong precedent for the sharing of knowledge and resources throughout his career. He supported a range of causes through charitable donations, including university hardship funds, the education of women in developing countries, a student prize at the University of Surrey, and a bench methodology fund for the Biochemical Society. Today, the Reid Bioanalytical Forum continues this tradition through its Early Career Scientist Competition, offering bursaries to support the next generation of scientists.

The Reid meeting provides early career researchers with a great opportunity to interact with others in the diverse field of bioanalytical science, in an informal and friendly environment. Winners of the Early Career Scientist competition will receive bursaries that cover the conference registration fee, travel to the conference and accommodation.

Applications will open approximately 9 months before each of our biennial meetings, so keep an eye open for announcements through LinkedIn!
