Reid Bioanalytical Forum

The International Reid Bioanalytical Forum (Reid) first met in 1975, organised by the late Eric Reid, then Director of the Wolfson Bioanalytical Unit at the University of Surrey. Over 50 years on, Reid continues to meet every 2 years (with some interruption for the COVID-19 pandemic) offering an inclusive and congenial setting for large and small molecule Bioanalysts to share knowledge, experiences and learn from one another. A true community for Bioanalysts!

Reid hosts presentations and discussions on cutting edge bioanalytical science for practitioners from a variety of backgrounds. Sessions at our meetings cover a mix of new technologies, emerging trends in bioanalysis, together with regulatory aspects. Participants come from pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations, agrochemical companies, instrument manufacturers, academics and anywhere else that bioanalytical science is practiced.

Reid also provides a supportive environment for early career bioanalysts and in line with our core values of building and supporting a dynamic, ever-evolving Bioanalytical community, have launched a collaborative mentoring program open to all Reid members! See here for further information.

If you’re practicing in the field of bioanalysis and would like to become part of our community you can join us on LinkedIn and find full details of our next upcoming meeting here. We look forward to welcoming you!
